  • "Wanted to say thanks to everyone at American. Dropped of my low rider for a 1k service and a malfunctioning horn. Had to order parts for the horn but they gave me the bike back to be able to keep riding while part was ordered. Brought bike back at my convenience for horn but found there was another problem. All the guys in service bent over backwards to fix it while I was there unfortunately time ran out for the day. They kept the bike and worked on it first thing the next day where after a short time they found the problem, made the repair and notified me that it was ready to be picked up. From the very first time I walked in the door I was made to feel like they were all my new best friends. Sales, parts, service, clothing and everyone else are the best at what they do. Will keep coming back. Keep up the great work. Thanks for all your help."

  • "Dont you hate it when you walk into a Harley dealer and the sales staff is on you like seeds on a strawberry? That is NOT how it is at American HD. You can walk in and look around without being attacked. It's kind of nice. If you want help, they are there to help you and make buying a bike easy peasy. I've been in 6 or 8 times thinking about upgrading and no one bothered me. They just let me look around. Then when I decided to buy, i walked in, sat down and told them what I wanted to do. In no time we had worked out a deal that worked for everyone and I bought a new bike. That is how it is supposed to be."

  • "I had the 40,000 mile service done on my 2007 Road King FLHP. ( which wasn't originally purchased there) During the service the tech found many issues that I never would have. Transmission was sloppy and in danger of failing, broken engine mount, Belt drive sprocket missing teeth, etc., he kept me updated on costs and always informed me before proceeding. Additionally, whenever I stop in for another Accessory, its in stock. The people here treat the customers like family, I always have a good experience stopping in."

  • "Just got my 2017 Street Glide Special delivered today, Big shout out to Fran, Phil, JC and the rest of the people at American Harley. You guys are the best, this is my 3rd bike and I have been going there since 92! Nobody does better than you guys and I would never go anywhere else! Fran does an excellent job at sales and it is always great to talk to Phil and Marlene and the rest of the crew. Now I just wish they could make the weather warm up so I could ride this work of art!"

  • "I have been doing buissnes with American now for 6 years and they are awsome. I have bought two brand new bikes from them. I traded in my softail deluxe for a 2017 street glide special. They gave me a great value for my trade and Fran and Phil and the entire staff work with you and treat you great. Fran is totally cool and and i enjoyed wheeling and dealing with her. lol lol. I got my deal and checked out other dealers and no one could touch Americans deal for the same exact bike not to mention the personal service and attention. American will always have my buissnes.   • "My American experience all started back when I was 21 years old in 1978. I had bought a 1975 HD Sportser from a private party and decided to use American for service. They treated me as if I were their best customer, despite the fact that I did not purchase the bike from them. They even gave me a discount on parts and accessories. So when the time came to upgrade, I knew that I would buy my new bike from American. I went to see Phil, who I believe may have been the only person in the sales department at that time. He looked at my trade-in and gave me a great deal on the first 1979 low rider of the season that just come into the shop. By the way, the MSRP on the bike was $4695.00! I sold that bike around 1983 and went ride-less for the next 27 years, a decision that I so deeply regret now. By the time I hit 50, I had the fever again and I got back in the game in April of 2010 with a used 05 Softtail Deluxe. As you might expect, I used American for all my service and, after 3 seasons of enjoying that ride, it was time for a new Street Glide. I was experiencing a weak moment one morning so I drove up to American to talk to Phil. Within 15 minutes we had a deal put together on a brand new 2013. Like most fans of the HD brand, I like to stop at other dealers to look around and maybe buy a tee shirt but that's where it stops for me. I can't stand being swamped by salespersons on commission who try to get your phone number when you are just looking around. The sales team at American is always willing to answer questions and help, but they are not annoyingly aggressive. The clothing, parts and service teams are all great to do business with and really treat you as one of the family. Because of all this, the only place that I would ever buy or service my bike is at American."

  • "I came across American Harley Davidson by searching dealers and looking at their pre-owned inventories online. American was not the first dealership I visited or talked to but when it came right down to it not only did they have the right bike they were FANTASTIC to work with over the phone as I live a few hours away from them. Marlene was pleasant to work with, accommodating and 100% willing to structure a deal including a trade over the phone. She was spot on with her description of the bike I wanted, worked a fair deal out including my trade and solidified everything including my insurance arrangements. I drove 3.5 hours to pick up my new to me Road Glide and couldn't have been treated any better by the entire staff at American. I wish I lived closer so I could service with them as well. I love my Road Glide and feel very good about my buying experience. Do not hesitate to call them if you spot something you like, they will go out of their way to make you happy!"

  • "This is a little late but better late than never. I just got my 4th bike from here. It all started in 2003 with my first Harley. And i have traded up from the sportser to a night train then to a street glide and now to my road glide. I have gone to other dealers and look at trading in but no one has come close to beating American Harley's deals. I get more for my trade in and more off the new new used bike than anyone else could give me. and on top of that the service and parts department is always there to help. If its on the phone or in person. Great dealer. Great people. (side note. im moving to Florida in nov and i will make the ride up to american when its time to trade up again. its worth the 1300 mile ride)"

  • "I bought a used bike from American last month, they were nice enough to deliver the bike to my house, while waiting for the weather to change I went out to start my bike which had sat for a week and a half,The battery was dead ,Called American Harley,Within an hour someone came by my house from American and brought the bike to the dealer for me!   • "My son and I are thrilled with our two new 110th Anniversary Fat Boy Lo and Heritage bikes we bought at American Harley. From the moment we walked into American we were made to feel welcomed, at home, and that we were their best customers. Phil spent a lot of time with us, listening to our needs and wants, and did everything possible to make our two new 110th Anniversary Harleys dream a reality. Where all the other dealers and salespeople were only interested in selling us bikes and accessories where they could make the most profit, American was interested in helping us buy our 110th Anniversary Harleys with all the options and everything we wanted. We truly appreciate how Phil sat with us discussing the bikes and options we wanted, the very fair valuations of our trade-ins, explaining everything there is to know about American Harleys almost 40 year history, taking us on the tour of the dealership and meeting some of the best people in the business. Fran couldnt have made us feel more comfortable going through the sales process, she is awesome. The time, effort, care and concern she put in to quickly locate and get our two new 110th Anniversary bikes, while answering all our questions and making our purchase as smooth as it was, was perfect. This is my fourth Harley and second for my son. Members of my employers 100 plus riders strong Motorcyclists Club highly recommended American saying; American Harley is the ONLY place you ever need to go, and now I know why. Id previously gone to other Harley dealers closer to my home. However, they never felt like home. Now for us there is no Harley dealership we are going to other than American. The hour plus ride will be even sweeter now knowing that at the end of the ride we and our bikes will be home at American Harley. Through the years Ive heard the phrase spoken at some other Harley dealerships regarding their: Maintaining the Integrity of the Bar and Shield. In my opinion, they've fallen short. Integrity in the context of ethics; the business ethics of Harley Davidson means honesty and truthfulness, accuracy of ones actions, and consistency of character. My son and I experienced that consistency of character between what Harley Davidson stands for and how Phil, Fran, Nick, John, Mike, and everyone at American Harley does business. That Harley character and consistency is exemplified in EVERYTHING American Harley does. Thank you for everything Phil, Fran and everyone at American Harley. You're simply THE BEST."

  • "I had ordered an accessory for my bike at my local H.D. dealership and then I was told that accessory was obsolete. They also told me that if I contact different dealerships, they may have it in stock because that is the only way that I can get it. Because I live in Ma., I started with all the dealerships looking for this certain part. When I contacted your dealership and got connected to parts they also told me you didn't have the part. Steve who I talked to in parts went out of his way to give me all the dealerships who may have it in stock. He saved me hours of calling all dealerships hoping to find one that had it. Thanks to him, my 2nd dealership call from his list had one in stock. Steve, I just want to thank you very much for going out of your way. Not only did that dealership have it, they mailed it out the same day and I got it the next day. The reason that I submitted this was to especially thank Steve in parts and to say thank you to your dealership on being a number 1 in customer service. I really wish that all H.D. dealerships cared about there customer service. Thanks again...Ray."
